FAQ

Will this zine be physical or digital?
This zine will offer both physical and digital copies for purchase, along with physical merch.

Will contributors be compensated?
Yes, contributors will be monetarily compensated.

What if I cannot receive financial compensation / Am a minor?
The shares of those who cannot or do not want to receive compensation will automatically go to a charity of choice. In the same way, minors will require explicit parental permission to receive payment.

What will be featured in this zine?
The zine will focus 50/50 on the BW1 & BW2 games. This will encompass a focus on trainers, Pokémon, locations, etc. featured within those games. Only canon material will be accepted. We will be featuring both art and fanfiction!

Hey hey, I’m Killian. I’m honestly drowning in zine work but that is a-okay. I am a bit of a workaholic and some of the bigger zines I am a part of are the Erasermic Family Zine, the Victory Mag Zine (Completed), the Underdogs Zine, and I head mod the Xiao Genshin Impact Zine. I have a lot more projects than that, but those are just a few. I also love Unova as Zoroa and Zoroark are my favorite pokemon. Dark types ftw.

Koma [Art/Organization Mod] (He/Him, 23)
Hey, I’m Mod Koma, and this is my second time modding a zine, with the first time being for the Galar Zine. I’ve also been an artist (both merch and page) for different zines themed around Pokemon, Splatoon, Rouxls Kaard, OCs, and more! Pokemon has had a special place in my heart ever since I was a kid, and I remember having my mind blown when I saw the animated sprites from Gen 5 for the first time. I’ll mostly be in the background, doing all the doc work for this zine, but it’s a labor of love. Also, talk to me about OCs, I love OCs.
Fun fact: Gen 4 is my fave gen, but Colress is my favorite Pokemon character. I am very gay for him.

I’m Signe, I have 2 years of professional experience as a motion graphic designer but this will be my first time contributing my skills as a zine mod. I’ve been a Pokémon fan since I first played Crystal but only got around to playing Black & White 2 years ago. I tend to like water and ice types as well as the weird Pokémon!
Fun fact: I love Mr. Mime and Vanillite and people’s hatred for them only fuels me.

Hi, I’m Ilan! This is the third zine I’m working on currently, I’m a General Mod on Vague - An Akechi Fashion Zine and a Communication/Writing Mod on Viola - An OC Zine! One of my fondest memories from middle school is playing Pokemon games online with a friend, so I’m excited to work on a zine centering around them!

Hiya! I’m Cyro/Skyler, This is my first time moderating, and being a part of a zine! Pokemon Black & White was my first Pokemon game when I was 10 years old, waiting in line at gamestop to get it back at its release. Needless to say, it is really close to my heart and I’m super excited to see this zine succeed!

I’m Nia and Pokemon made up my entire childhood lol. I’ve participated as a page artist and merch artist in two zines (In Our Hearts Fanzine & Twin Stars Zine, respectively) and this is my first time modding one! I’m super excited to meet others who have the same passion for one of my favourite gens!
